INDIANAPOLIS—Carrier has introduced a comprehensive indoor air quality program to mitigate health risks associated with air pollution from widespread wildfires across North America. The initiative supports public health by advising on measures to combat particulate matter that can exacerbate respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Carrier recommends that both residential and commercial property owners implement protective strategies, including the use of high-efficiency HVAC filtration systems, structural sealing to prevent smoke infiltration, and the deployment of HEPA-equipped portable air purifiers.
